Parental Information and Resource Centers (PIRC) are funded by the U.S. Department of Education and are located in every state. New York State has two PIRC programs that provide services for parents and schools. Find the PIRC nearest you.

Families and Communities Together with Schools (FACTS), sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County, provides services throughout Northern New York and the state.

PIRC Goals
- Strengthen partnerships between parents and schools to improve student achievement
- Help parents understand their rights under the No Child Left Behind Act
- Demonstrate ways parents can support learning at home and help children succeed in school
