New York State PIRC – Parental Information & Resource Center

What is a PIRC?

Parental Information and Resource Centers (PIRCs) are funded by the U. S. Department of Education and are located in every state.  New York State has two (2) PIRC programs that provide services and technical assistance related to Family Engagement for parents and schools.

NEW YORK STATE PIRC PROGRAMS:

The NYS Parental Information and Resource Center sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County,  in partnership with the Jefferson-Lewis BOCES, is headquartered in Watertown, New York and provides services throughout Upstate New York.  See our contact information.

EPIC – Every Person Influences Children is headquartered in Buffalo, New York and operates PIRC centers in Buffalo, Bronx, Yonkers, Fallsburg, Monticello, Queens, Syracuse, and Rochester.  See contact information.
