EPIC – Every Person Influences Children

EPIC – Every Person Influences Children, is headquartered in Buffalo, NY and has PIRC offices  throughout New York State (Bronx, Queens, Buffalo, Rochester, Yonkers, Syracuse, Fallsburg, Monticello).

EPIC is a national not-for-profit organization whose mission is helping families, schools, and communities raise children to become responsible and capable adults. To achieve its mission, EPIC combines an award-winning parenting program with a school-based character education curriculum and offers leadership training in several areas.

The EPIC PIRC provides a variety of services to families, schools, and communities with the common goal of increasing family engagement in education and improving student academic achievement.

Outcomes

Through quasi-experimental design and evidence-based research, EPIC has demonstrated that its programs have a positive impact on children by first positively impacting their parents. Key outcomes include improved parental involvement and increased student academic achievement.

Statewide Collaborations

EPIC & PIRC collaborate with various organizations to maximize their ability to meet the needs of families, schools, and communities, and provide support.
